The blade is full carbon steel, powder-coated black to fight rust and take a beating, hardened to a 58 to 60 HRC edge that bites in and holds. The deep, sweeping 6.25 inch belly and fine upswept tip are built for long, clean slicing strokes and for working right along the bone. At a nimble 253 grams it stays quick and precise all day. The round finger hole gives you a locked-in grip that won't quit, wet or dry, and doubles as a hang hole.
